The State Council Information Office held a press conference on the morning of January 14. Li Kuiwen, spokesperson of the General Administration of Customs and Director of the Statistics and Analysis Department, introduced the foreign trade import and export situation in 2021.Li Kuiwen said,Cross-border e-commerce, market procurement and other new business formats and new modelsIt is an effective force in the development of my country’s foreign trade., is also an important trend in the development of international trade.Since the outbreak of the new coronavirus pneumonia,my country's cross-border e-commerce has given full play to its characteristics and advantages such as online marketing, online transactions, and contactless delivery, and actively cultivated new advantages in participating in international cooperation and competition. The scale of import and export has continued to grow rapidly.

Li Kuiwen introduced,In terms of cross-border e-commerce,B2B export pilots are fully rolled out, and new models such as 'China-Europe freight trains' and 'consolidated transshipment' are integrated and developed.In order to help cross-border e-commerce export companies better explore the international market, in the second half of 2021, the cross-border e-commerce B2B export supervision pilot will be officially replicated and promoted by customs across the country, and supporting policies will continue to be improved.At the same time, cross-border e-commerce special trains such as 'SCO Demonstration Zone-Minsk', 'Yixin-Europe', 'Su-Xinou', and Hefei to Hamburg, Germany, and Wilhelmshaven have been opened and run regularly. The integration of 'China-Europe freight train' and cross-border e-commerce model has been achieved.Customs statistics show that my country's cross-border e-commerce imports and exports in 2021 were 1.98 trillion yuan, an increase of 15%; of which exports were 1.44 trillion yuan, an increase of 24.5%.
